Plant Variety/Germplasm Disclosure Form
This form should be used when you have developed a new plant variety or germplasm. This Plant Variety/Germplasm Disclosure Form may be completed before or after submission of a Plant Release Proposal to the Texas AgriLife Research Plant Review Committee (PRC).
The purpose of this form is to notify the OTC of your new plant variety or germplasm. The information requested in the form assists us in ensuring that any obligations to third parties are properly addressed and in obtaining intellectual property protection where applicable.
A Breeder/Contributor Data Sheet is required to be completed for each person identified as a Breeder or other person that directly contributes to the development of the plant variety or germplasm being disclosed. One of these forms is contained within the Plant Variety/Germplasm Disclosure form and additional copies may be downloaded here.
A Distribution of Income form may be completed and submitted with the Plant Variety/Germplasm Disclosure Form. If not submitted with the disclosure form, the OTC will contact you at a later time to complete the form prior to distributing any applicable royalties.
